A Little Birthday Present For Myself

I made a decision I wanted my nostril pierced 1 or 2 months before my birthday. I had a stud acquired and everything, but I was not heading up to any towns around then and the old lady certainly wouldn’t let me get it if I asked her. I was desperate after I got some bad news, so I even attempted to do it myself with some sterilised piercing needles I received from a pal, since getting piercings makes me smile. I just couldn’t do it, it might go in about 1/2 way and I’d chicken out. I do not even think it might have been straight or anything. Read more…

my diy septum experience

I have always been crazy about piercings ever since I used to be a kid. I am not really sure whether I invented the notion of piercing yourself or if I saw it on somebody else. All I can recollect is wanted my septum pierced for an established.

Thinking back, I saw it on a model in a mag. I questioned how she didit ( I used to be a dumb kid ) and could not wait till the day that I was oldenough to be ready to do that. Read more…

Nose peircing overview

The Septum is the cartilage on the inside of the nose that separates the nostrils.

It is generally pierced quite close to the front, or tip, of the septum instead of centrally. In numerous cases the septum cartilage is high enough to pierce thru the tissue below it. In other cases the cartilage may have points along its base where it is thinner. More frequently than not the septum cartilage is very hard all the way down to the bottom and piercing it’ll need some effort on the part of the piercer, and the piercee.
